The Fresh Fire mod is completely unofficial, and was an amateur fan-made undertaking. The content in this portion of the website pertains to "software" known as "Breath of Fire 2", which was developed by Capcom, and published by Capcom (SNES release) and later licensed for a remake to the GBA which was published by Ubisoft. Fresh Fire mod- Info Pages Without further ado, I offer the Breath of Fire community. ![]() I did attempt to give players a strong reason to use any of the nine PCs, and opened more Shaman combinations. This mod represents much more of my personal tastes in character development, and a desire for Ryu to be able to use his Dragon powers more liberally (like his ancestor did in Breath of Fire 1). I thought the original game was perfectly fine. Unlike many of the mods offered here, I really didn't have a strong negative reason for making this mod. And lastly, building a new town was an incredible feature, and gave you a sense that you really are making your own destiny and affecting the game world. The Breath of Fire series catapulted non-humans into central, heroic roles (Breath of Fire was the first game that I remember that memorably did this). ![]() Every character can do something nifty to help out your team, and the party lineup can be organized differently in battle via different attack formations, which have varying affects on the attack/defense/speed of each combatant. The early Breath of Fire games weren't anything particularly new, but they were well executed and fun to play, and definate creativity was demonstrated in different character's abilities.
